How good was Arsenal’s 2012/2013 finish?

Arsenal’s fourth place in this season’s Premier League table owes a lot to an impressive run after the transfer window closed at the end of January. The Gunners took 35 points out of a possible 42, losing only to North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur but how good was that run when put into historic context?

Arsenal were sixth after 24 matches of the 2012/2013 season, four points off fourth place which was then occupied by their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Let’s look at how the Premier League table would look if we only consider the last 14 matches of this season.
